Conventional Storage
This is the type of traditional self storage that most people think of when self storage is mentioned. Conventional units have the benefit of being easy to access as they have roll up doors that open directly to the aisle. In the last 27 years before we rebuilt Ga. 400 Storage all we had was conventional storage. And in 27 years countless thousands of tenants (that's right, thousands) stored everything from household goods and furnishings to tools and construction supplies, root beer, extra inventory, you name it we had it.

We constructed 138 conventional units when we rebuilt our storage facility. They are very easy to access and priced lower than climate controlled storage.

Climate Controlled Storage
As the years went on we started to get more and more calls for climate controlled storage units. Climate control is defined by the Self Storage Industry as keeping the temperature between 50 and 85 degrees .

We keep ours in the upper 70's in the summer and the low 60's in the winter. We also have a separate dehumidification system that runs independently of the Heat and air system. To access our climate control units you must go enter the building through a secure door by entering your passcode. Only tenants who have climate controlled units may access the climate control area. From there it is a short distance to your unit. We keep 2 different kind of carts by the door to make loading easy.

Premium Climate Controlled Storage Units
We have a select number of premium climate controlled spaces. Most are 10 x 30 or 10 x 20 in size. They have direct access to the street like a conventional storage unit. They have insulated and sealed doors that allow us to heat and cool them just like the climate controlled units

Safety & Security We want our customers to feel comfortable and safe when they visit our storage facility. To this end we have put together a state of the art security system.

We have over 50 day/night color cameras that record most of our 9 acre facility on 4 digital video recorders. Our storage units are equipped with wireless alarm switches that tell the video system what to record (it already records motion) and links the video with the alarm system. There are also external sirens and the alarm notifies staff when events occur.

The large climate control building has a complete fire sprinkler system and emergency lighting. Speaking of lighting, we have as much light as we could practically install.

All of our driveways are at least 30 feet wide, some are 45 and some are 50 feet wide! There is plenty of room for the largest trucks to navigate.

There is no way to guarantee safety and a crime free storage facility. Things can happen. For the possibilities that we have not prepared for, we have reasonably priced tenant insurance for your stored property available. Ask our staff and they will be glad to give you the details.
